Reluctant Model

Dead Horse State Park, UT

I think this might be a Sagebrush lizard, Sceloporus graciosus, that we
"coaxed" into posing for us on this branch. Dan Greenberg captured more (below)
of this particular fellow's ordeal with a small band of nature photographers.

I thought 1.5 to 2m until I saw the third image. Fisheye fooled me. Great shot from use of lens distortion. V!

A fantastic example of how close you can get to a subject with the 8mm end of the fisheye. In your shot he looks the size of an Australian Bungarra, which grow very big!

Ha! Yeah I agree with Jess, you guys are just having too much fun here! Beautifully captured in your shot. Makes him look so much bigger.

Wow Sam! That came out beautiful! I would have never thought of using a fisheye for this. You should send him, our lizard friend, a print of this. He will certainly appreciate how big and magnificent you made him look. ~BV~

A giant in the first image tries for his pint (of blood) from the coaxer.
