Another view of Greenland from 33,000 feet. You can see the calved icebergs
frozen in place, ready to go on their journey once the sea thaws out.
One of my most satisfying window seats ever. The return trip from Frankfurt to LA
had us go up over Greenland. My first time ever for seeing glaciers, icebergs and
the frozen sea. I am not sure why it is called Greenland, because the roughly 2,000
miles we traversed was almost nothing but snow and ice. I was blessed with being on
the right side of the plane (literally) and having a mostly cloud-free view.
(Not the case as we passed by Iceland)
