Econo-Wave Speakers

My version of the Econo-Wave speakers as discussed on the Audio Karma forum. The low frequency driver is the FaitalPRO 12PR300 and the high frequency horn is the JBL PT-F95HF waveguide with a Selenium D220Ti compression driver. The 18mm baltic birch cabinet design is similar to the 18 Sound 2-Way 12" Kit, and it is designed assuming augmentation by a subwoofer below 80Hz. The sensitivity of these speakers is in the range of 98dB/1W/1 meter. They will be used as the front LCR speakers in my daughter and son-in-law's home theater. For about $250 in components per speaker plus labor, the sound quality is astoundingly good to this ear accustomed to Avantgarde and Danley Horns.
