I took a trip to Olvera Street in Los Angeles. This is where they first started founding Los Angeles. Man your perspective changes from when you are a child to when you are an adult. The last time I was on this street I was probably only 8 years old or so. It seemed HUGE at the time. Now it's just a small block of street stores. It sure seems littler now that I've grown up. :)

perspective is everything, isn't it . . and our opinions of things are so heavily colored by our experiences at the time. I recall revisiting a child hood haunt many moons later & feeling the same thing you express here. But this is indeed a cool picture . . lovr the walk way lined with wrought iron & colorful wares. Charming.
