Staring

The beak has some beach sand, the Raven has probably been digging in the sand to cache or recover food.

thanks for the kind words. I should have a picked a lighter coloured bird species to focus on, something with markings that would make autofocus easier too. Or so I think at times. I am fond of Ravens since they stay around here all year.
