Dealey Plaza with the infamous Texas Schoolbook Depository in the background. The lower floors of the building are now home to the Dallas County Commissioners Court. The sixth floor, from which it is believed that Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F. Kennedy, is now home to an excellent museum on the subject. The white truck that is underneath the sign is about a second from passing over the spot where the first bullet struck the president and Gov. John Connally. The window from which the shots were fired is directly below the window in the upper right-hand corner of the building. It is obscured by the foliage of the tree.
