The "white room" sat atop the erector on Launch Complex 19 to service the Gemini manned spacecraft. As the structures at pad 19 deteriorated in the Florida salt air, the white room was detached from the erector and moved to a museum adjacent to Pad 5/6, the site of the first U.S. manned spaceflight.
