The Science Fiction enthusiast

This Science Fiction enthusiast believed that aliens were coming soon. He intended to build a 'fortress' out of his appartment. The only problem was where he could get all the silver foil he needed to insulate his fortress. I photographed him in the beginning of his 'project'. To my knowledge, he never came round to finish the building of his 'Anti Alien Fortress'. Lack of silver foil?

It does make sense to me, Mary Bell. You actually describe my feelings when I met him. There was indeed a sense of 'the mad scientist' about him.

Best regards,
Paul

Some how this catches an odd combination of dementia and dignity - sort of the mad genius...the gritty feel of his apartment definitely gives his reality a solidity for the rest of us (if that makes sense to you)...

This guy is one determent person. I doub't he has the slightest touch of doubt in him. At least considering his idea's. regular portrait style, nice to show this man in a dignified way. does the man justice i think. He looks like he could be captain on an ocean liner. dead serious.

Probably he has just discovered that gold foil works better.
