Up the Nile

Two dozen "Road Scholars" explored Cairo, traveled out to four oases in the Western Desert, and sailed up the Nile. What a way to cross a lot of items off our 1000 Places To See Before You Die list!

Wow, Mrs. Jones, these pictures are incredible. I love those hazy rich-colored ones at the beginning - they're just beautiful. And the vibrant colors in the pictures along the Nile and in the cities feel so real. It must have been an amazing trip.
I'm so glad I happened to check in! I'll let my mom know there are new things to see...

Wow! That first shot is truly amazing. It had better be real and not photoshop. And the fellow Road Scholar is great — the person ooks like an ancient Tartar or Mongol witht the pointy hat. Tip Top National Geo quality!
