Hi Patricia: The large central vertical leaf surface is begging for a crisp sharpness. In a photo,something, particularly an important part, has to be sharp, very sharp. For better quality, ISO should be the lowest,say 100, unless there is much subject or wind movement. For a pleasing image, I would clean out the blemishes in the composition. Longer focal length and wider aperture, as you hahe, will blur the background and other parts of the image, all of which will be desirable. Best wishes.
