Beat Beethoven 06-01-14

The objective of the Kingston Beat Beethoven run is to complete the 8K course in 50 minutes or less, the time it takes the orchestre to play Beethoven's Third Symphony.

This year we were joined with Ludwig, his twentieth appearance, and Canadian Olympic Marathon runner,and Kingston native, Dylan Wykes. Dylan ran the course, being a sport, twice. One get to meet all kinds of nice people this way.

If you take a peek at images 03274 to 03288 you can see how a world class athlete gets the jump on the rest of the group.

There was also a companion 4K run or walk for the lesser energetic.

Many, many thanks to all participants, volunteers and the KSO for a wonderful morning.
