The expansion will include a classification yard named Palmayo Yard

I Had the urge to do some new building on the SoCal Desert Rail Division. I decided to add a nice big yard in hopes to improve operations. I planned this addition back in June but started it September 13th. I have plans to finish it by January 1st of 2009 but I already know that date will come and go without having it finished because I am short around 30 piedces of flextrack. I cant get that amount in time so I will hope to complete it by February 1st.

Looking really good, nice to have alll that space to let your imagination roll. Will you be doing an updated track diagram for us to see? Thanks.

Hi,

Really like what your doing with your layout and the stuff you post on Youtube. I am a Pakistani and I get haters too when they find out I'm into model railraoding. Never mind the haters and keep up the good work. I noticed that your mainline in your yard was on corkroad bed as usual but, your yard tracks directly on the plywood. You had the tracks slope down from the roadbed to the plywood using some sort of a styrofoam shim. What do you use to acheive this as this is what I would like to do in my yard portion of my layout? Do you make the styrofoam shims yourself or can you buy them pre-made?
