A typical Tamil old man ... can I say old ? If you look straight in his eyes you discover the everlasting youth, the pride, the joy, the fun, the energy ... and that's what makes the Tamil man so typical. The ironed lines in his shirt, the red scarf on his shoulder, the well cut hair ... it all is part of the etiquette of a narcissistic proud man in a good way, daily a fresh shirt and often to the barber, he has to look good, at any age.
To understand their nature I can only say how neighbor states people describe Tamil Nadu: the land of the children, they laugh like children, they fight like children, they have joy like children and they make children like children, their life long ... but they also are very jealous like children, very possessive in their friendship and have a strong sense for what is right that they will defend with their life. Maybe a bit blown up but that's the best way to understand their nature.
What a difference with Western people, often the light in their eyes is gone, they maybe rich but a Tamil man got his richness in his heart of a ever lasting wondering youth.
