It's more a question of habit, I believe, to use your feet as extra helping hand. Maybe also the physical morphology, people have thinner but denser bones and so much more lean ligaments. We should eat more rice in the West I believe at least to have better teeth :)).

I was strolling around again in the poor neighbourhood of Sellur where lots of people work on the street itself and children are kept an eye on at the same time.

Small funny story of this kind of poor neighbourhoods: I parked my bike once and when I came back, a father was playing with his small baby in the seat of the bike …. fun indeed ! But when he took his child in his arm again I noticed some traces of an urgent toilet stop of the baby …. I said to the father joking : “You clean it up, it’s not my baby”! Astonished but laughing he cleaned the mess up :)).
