It was on a Sunday evening we reached the village Mungalam and apparently these ladies had the habit to walk together to get water as I was waiting for them but they stopped for a chat on the road with other people from the village. Finally they passed by nicely dressed with their Sundays Sari and the Jasmine flowers in their hair.
This road to the water source is an important social cultural evenement especially for the women of the village, a meeting place to discuss the news of the day.
