Edgartown Light.jpg

Breaking all the rules of composition....well, I'm not sure if I met this challenge, but placing the lighthouse far left seems to me distracting with the path in the foreground and the boats far right...and more sky than I would usually have worked into a photo too. I'm not sure if I broke any rules here but this challenge made me more aware of composition than I've ever been.

You might have broken rules BUT you got your message across. It is good to view the whole and not worry about what the experts think is a good thing.

The rule of 45/55 it seems.
Yup, you broke it.

Your trying to empty the ocean as well...definately broken rules. :>)

Oh and that big sky! I am always being told that my skies are too big!
Good entry!
