What a remarkable bird! I've never seen one. The clarity of the shot is really effective in bringing out the feather and facial details. Brenda

Really an amazing little bird. Sometimes I think our birds here in America need more color! I guess we do have our cardinal to go along with your bishop though :o)

What a well names bird, he really does look like a Bishop with his mitre on. This really is a great shot, these guys on sit still for seconds. From the shape of the beak am I guessing he is not an insect eater?
