This is a combination of both grit and beauty. The former comes from humanity's efforts to despoil whatever landscape may be available; the latter arises naturally and over-arches our own attempts to degrade it. Colors are magnificent in this shot. Its DOF draws us toward the sun. Excellent work, as always. I learn so much from observing your various images. Brenda

Sad to see the beach treated this way, but I guess its a working beach and not a tourist one. As always, great work on balancing the sky and foreground in very difficult light.

All that garbage! It makes me so sad to see. Time to organize a beach clean up! I love this shot despite the trash or due to it! The sky is beautiful yet nearly gloomy, perfect for your strong image.
