The Tail Tells All - Catman

Tommy is new to the cat family but has become the Alfa guy and is so relaxed about it that he takes every event very naturally and is very comfortable with who he is. The Tail Tells All

Thanks Brent, Cats are more social than generally known, it is because they are very particular about with whom they chose to be friend.

Shirley, Freddy is resting after Tommy asserted his Alpha position and continues to demonstrate his superior position with his tail puffed and raised high. Hence my title which I am surprise no one pick up on, maybe they would in the Sunday cat thread

For the number of times I have looked at this I am surprised I have not commented on it. I have 3 cats - and they folow me wherever I go. Except for Thomas, who insists on getting under my feet whenever I am carrying something - they are mostly just content to hang out in the same area. It is funny watching them "stalk" the deer when they come in the yard. They are amazingly personable animals. Nice catch of the community side. brent

Shirley, it is absolutely amazing how much these cats are attached to me, and I them. This was a typical afternoon outing. I went out the back door alone and in less than a minuet these two were right behind and Molly was not far behind them. She is out of the frame to the right.
If you are alluding to the highlights on his right leg it is what another photographer called pointy, it has something to do with the camera's inability to resolve a very bright light in a very small pixel area. In other words it is, omagod a distortion of the image.

I just love that cute stare into the camera, like "here I am daddy". I love the fall colors on the ground tooand he looks like he has some morning dew on his fur. Of course there comes Freddy from behind! This one makes me smile.

Miro, you have found my Achelis heel. I concentrate too much on getting the expression on a cats face and miss the second most important expression a cat can have, his tail.

And thank you all for the nice comments. I do love my cats.

Very handsome cat with strong personality shown on his face. I like the composition and only is a pity you couldn't catch the whole tail. No it is good actually, one can ask himself how long it can bee. :-)

I'm reading that this character is giving his background companion the cat's equivalent of a cold shoulder. That I-am-ignoring-you-so-this-guy-will-give-me-all-his-attention look. It's "talk to the butt", written in lovely colors, with wonderful focus on the ears and eyes and an interestingly off-centered composition.

I sure do like this.

excellent cat's eye view, the lighting in the background is great too.

And tall tales from the wanderings I'm sure. Freddy's markings are so distinctively. You couldn't miss hime from a sea of cats. Tommy sure found a good home.
