Thanks for the comments. Charlie, do you mean the beer, the bar or Ulysses? The beer's OK (prefer Murphy's), the bar's pretty good and very lively, Ulysses.... Oh my!

So what are the letters "INEKEN" part of? I thought Heineken was astute, even if apparently unintentional(doh!)

The layering cool how you have captured behind you with the reflection - on the glass with the lettering, in the room with the chair (appears to be a small room - a display window?) and the back of the room with stained glass - even the light behind hints at a further dimension. Interesting picture to be peering (!@) into. brent

Sorry I meant the Artist/Photographer Robert Heineken. He did all those photo assemblages using all sorts of media. this sort of reminded me of him... I did recognize Joyce.......is it any good? ;-)

I like the perspective and proportions Frank, well constructed. Great exposure and colours too. Duncan

With just the picture and title, I was thinking Bloomsday before even seeing the comments. I too like the layering; the bright sharpness of the back layer makes the comp work so well for me. Nice, Frank.

Oops, yes peering, LOL!

Guess you meant peering Colin. No Charlie, this is a new Irish bar in Madrid called "The James Joyce", Heineken is the (Dutch) beer.

Interesting double layer here, love how the face is peeing out between the letters.
