I've been wanting to take a picture of this garage door for a while... it's right around the corner from my house and so I kept putting it off. Well, now I had an extra reason to shoot it.

More than meets the eye here Art. The crumbling wall and the flag must mean something. Nice one.

love the shapes, the lines, the light. i also happen to like the trash can, semi-unobtrusive, but not quite. a perfect touch, to me.

I can see why you had the desire to go grab this shot. It's very "americana" and with all the nice shadows and shapes and that little Flag waving under the security light, well it couldn't get much better, could it! Sure glad you got this one.

I like the distribution of lights and shadows and the balnce between. Solid and well drawn volumes, althoug the result is a little ominous? endika

Agree with crop and it is horizontal, but the shadows make it looks it isn't. Only vertical parts looks they are aslope.

Nice tones and contrasts
I do agree with Kevin's comments though.

I like this but I don't know why? I would change it a little if it were mine though, I would adjust the horizontals so it was square, and crop out the bin on the left side, apart from that I would leave as is.
Kevin.
