Thank you for the nice comments. I had dropped Marv off to walk up the bridge to look at something. As I was doing a u-turn to go park the car that railing caught my eye and then the entire scene. It's really about just getting lucky sometimes isn't it.

Great use of light Shirley. Makes for a very evocative image.

Funny. I suppose I should be drawn to the people, but what really grabs me is the leaves standing out so clear and the buildings in the distance. The marching of the lamps and how you have captured "rows" of people sure adds to that feeling of people marching to a beat. Just a wonderful shot! - brent

Love the imaginative title, along with the shot. That's some beautiful light shining up from above and the exposure is well-balanced for it vs. the buildings and the people! Very nice stuff!

Agree with Alistair, equally good like color original, with it's B&W charm.

I've always like the mood of this shot. Appropriate title. Although I liked "Bodysnatchers" better (hehe)

Ah now I remember seeing the colour version of this Shirley, and it looses nothing in B&W. Great stuff. Alistair

LOL Maybe you're right Geo...I think it deserves a new title for now. :o)

A bit of a sinister title for such a beautiful picture, but well chosen. Great contrast in this picture.
