2nd - On Chanctonbury KNOLL #3, by Alistair

knoll (nôl) A small rounded hill or mound; a hillock.
[Middle English knol, from Old English cnoll.]

"In 1974 three members of a Worthing based paranormal research group visited the site and one member of the team was said to have levitated whilst walking amongst the trees which crown the hill. According to the story, he remained suspended in mid air for several seconds and during that time he was crying out 'No More! No More!' and was obviously in some considerable pain. He was then, apparently, thrown to the floor injuring his back" (wiki)

(yeah right!)

A very nice trio of shots. Hard to pick a fav really. This might be easiest but like them all. Your lucky to have gotten Knoll and living in the UK I would have really stretched with that one. really beautiful stuff Al

Thanks all! Shirley, I paid mother nature dearly. Got up at 5am... walked up the hill in the dark, then took a wrong turn on the way down (looking at the scenery instead of my map) and landed an extra 2 mile detour :( Alistair

This is one of the most beautiful photos of scenery I've seen in a long time! I love everything from the trees to the pastels in the sky to the evening gold on the green grass. You must have paid mother nature for this set up. It's magic!

This is crisp and clear. I'd find it hard to choose between the 3, but for me, it's out of the other two entered, though this would look great on canvas. Nice one.
