ok, I compromised on both Charlie's and Shirley's suggestions....
cropped and changed saturation. It is better? any other tries?
I'm game. K

I just think you had a good eye to notice these for your challenge Katherine. I'm not sure I would have. I, for some reason, kept wanting to just scroll up so only the center (or at least past the top of the "towers") was showing. Maybe because without the tops I might not have been able to figure out just what they were and I love the guessing game. Still, the fact you saw these was more then I'd have done!

I am really drawn to this as an abstract look at shape and repetition. May I suggest you desaturate the yellows and pump up the reds just a toch? You did VERY well in finding multiple doubles in this pic Katherine. Cool stuff

I agree with you; Marc, but the frame is right for me: the twin stacks are, like, insinuating their abstract potential, and the result is a very impressive composition, IMO. endika

Nice one. Maybe you could make it a bit more abstract by making a crop of the center ? It would look like twin-somthing things. I really like the smooth texture and shadows.
