Are green tomatos a special variety or are they just red tomatoes that haven't ripened yet? We had some green italian tomatos a couple of years ago, I think they were called Modena, and they had a very distinctive flavour. I wonder if these are something similair? Cool picture too - Yaelle

It's like John and the tomato stalk. I've never tried fried green tomatoes, I think I'd love them. I'm eating a box of ripe tomatoes every day, cherry and grape ones. Yum! Shirley
