Superb shot Colin! I agree with Goffen that cloning out the chain would make it sublime!

I think I commented on here already too. Because this is really a great shot. Maybe I was just reading and didn't actually type what I was thinking? I've got a bad habit of typing out the comment and going to the next page before clicking add comment. I love your shot, enough said.

Very nicely done indeed.

Hmmmm. I thought I had commented. This is really a strong photo Colin. Everything about it works: story, comp, intrigue. wonderfully done!

I'd leave the chain in for the competition, but remove it for elsewhere - love the shot!

I agree with the other comments about the leash but it's still a wonderful shot. The shadow of the dog itself is also an added bonus.

Ta for the comments :) Good suggestion, I might just get rid of the real leash and move this one to the "before" gallery , I really didn't think of that before!

Nice. I'd be tempted to clone out the real leash too, or maybe just fade it a bit.
I think the dog is just sniffing the breeze... wonder what he smells!

Creative shot, the dog looks like it has a few unprintable thoughts on its mind :]

Just great !

I'm not one for altering in PP , but i cant help wondering how this would look with the real chain removed ...

Oh also reminds me of film noir, is she a "detective?" Out on a case with her trusty dog who has found something ?
Brad 03-Mar-2013 22:46
Oh what a photo, that dog's expression ( tongue going out), and the shadow of the woman who "caused it", great catch, and an example where the shadow does not have to be of the object shown without shadow, h,mmm you may have given me,, more ideas
