All I know is that the heads belonged to a church destroyed since and were saved as part of city's heritage. I am afraid leaky metal roof above some of them is the cause of rust. Chris Oly

These are really wonderful, your photo is wonderful. I get an uneasy feeling though. They seem to have their heads on a chopping block, just waiting for the blade to come lop them off the wall.
