Conrad, this is really pretty. I love the great fall colors and the late light shadows that enhance the rolling pasture. Very nice!

How right you are about sometimes getting lucky with the time and the place. I find this gentle land with the bold colors and the grazing cattle very appealing. --Stefan

Thanks for the positive comments. This was one of those situations where I came around a curve in the highway, saw the trees, saw the light was right and saw a place to pull off the road. Sometimes you just happen to find yourself in the right place at the right time without even planning.

Wonderful touches of red! Our fall colour was very muted this year. Love the sweep of pasture leading to the trees.
