I love the look you got in this shot. The leaves so brightly lit by the sun. It looks very painterly, I really like it a lot.

Thank you all for the positive comments, it is encouraging. I will admit though that I did not have Paul Gauguin in mind when I shot and processed the photo but will graciously accept the comparison. :)

This does indeed remind me of a Gaugin painting. The contrasts in both form and colour are really striking!
