The basement stairs -ArtP
by ArtP

Close to home

OK, more oblique than indirect, but the light is filtered through the Elder at the top of the stairs

Very well seen: I like very much how the light superimposes a diagonal grid over the mostly horizontalv/vertical structure of the subject. All together work to achieve a good abstract. endika

Yop, in a little while, the wall would be in full shadow.
(btw, camera clock was off- this was shot at 4 to 11, not 4 to 10)
I may take you up on that suggestion, have to see what I have lying around that could add interest... something mot too tall, maybe something brightly colored to contrast w the subdued, earthy tones... Will try tomorrow :)

Love how that strong light is coming down the stairs and picking out the texture of the wall and peeling plaster. I guess you only get this at a specific time of day?
I think this may has been even better with around -0.7ev or so dialed in, then you could place an object on the floor where the light is strongest. Think surreal, put something unexpected there :-)
