I think i like this one even better than the Normandy bridge.
The cathedral is beautiful, but also the sky is just great. (If you could tear down the low building in the front it would be perfect.)
I am also grateful that it's not my job doing maintenance on the round thingy on the top of the cross just above the moon.
Marc, I just love that golden glow of the building against the darkening blue sky. It just pops! But, I can't imagine this shot without thos great whispy clouds floating across the moon.

I can't match Brenda's comments but concur anyway. Great capture of a magnificent cathedral in beautiful light.

I don't live in an area where there are very many large, elegant architectural landmarks. This one is glorious in its design, massive size, and sheer beauty. The moonlight enhances the whole scene. I keep imagining the daily lives of the countless, long-forgotten workers who laboured over generations to create such testaments to their faith. The cathedral in Rouen is surely one of the most magnificent anywhere.
