3rd - Parsley Hay I, Alistair

The Tissington trail is a footpath and cyclepath that runs the length of an old railway line through the Southern Peak District in the UK. This is probably my favourite stretch as the fine view changes around each turn of the trail.

You must be tickled with the snow. It changes the landscape temporarily and gives a whole new look. I love the winding fence line that comes off the barn in the foreground and the clouds!

Really nice, really conveys the bleak beauty of the moors in winter. Wonderful b&w treatment too.

Beautiful Alistair. The light is great with that dark brooding sky contrasting against the crisp snow. Lovely place.

Perfect snaking lines leading us into the photo.
