My mother was on 6 months trip to India several years ago, i think she got it there. It is a very intriguing object, actualy. It has a small chain, so you could carry it with the keys i guess :)

This is a very nice shot of an intriguing object. Is it a pendant? I seem to remember seeing these when I was young, and an international-import van made yearly stops at the local university. There were goods from all over the world, including jewelry and metalwork - brass, mostly - from India. I think these little calendar discs were among them. So your photo brings back some very pleasant memories.

Very neat! Seven days in a week too! The peacocks are a nice touch and I see it is good for 35 (odd number) years. Very interesting peice to look at. Thanks Kalin.
