Like this a lot! They have their own separate personalities. Impressive stonework, too.

Very colorful old mailing technology. Even today they are good in exploitation. Nice find.

I think they're wonderful Kev! I loved these and the old red phone booths that I hear are a more rare thing even since my visit. I find them very quaint, a lot more fun to look at then ours for sure! I really love the postage stamps for sale right beside the mailing bins. Just too neat!

Colin, Windsor high street. thousands of tourists pass them every day without so much as a second glance.

I've never seen a blue one and I haven't seen a stamp machine like that for years! This must be the ground of a Royal Castle, the E-R is Elizabeth, I guess the G is for George.

E11R = Elizabeth 2nd, as in Queen Liz, so that makes GR = George, as in King George.

Red box is a standard post box for sending letters, the Blue one is a very rare Airmail box, one of only two I think.

having never been to the Great land above France these post boxes are very new to me.
can you tell me the what the red, blue and ER, GR represent?
