Tennessee's Wintering Vermilion Flycatchers

It had been 16 years since I had seen a Vermilion Flycatcher in TN, then in December 2003 one was found at Reelfoot Lake, Lake Co. It was an immature bird and I found another immature at Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge in February 2004. Evidently this second bird liked the latter location as on Nov. 28, 2004, I located an adult plumaged male. Three Vermilion's in one year after a 16 year absence is almost too good ;o) Joe Guinn and I returned today, Dec. 1, after some very rainy days and relocated the bird.
