Mike and I have studied the bird closely with good optics and the bill does not show the dark tomium or grin expected on a hybrid while this is visible on all the nearby Snow Geese. The base of the bill is smoky blue more like that seen on a young bird or a female. The second bird has a very dark blue base on its bill.
