See, I told you so. Lesser Yellowlegs, bulk wise, are slightly smaller than Killdeer where Greater are much Larger. I've seen occasions where a large female Lesser was surrounded by smaller males and the larger bird called a Greater. As you can see in this photo, there really has to be a BIG Difference in size to make that call.
