At the north construction terminus of Highway 67 at 266 junction, you don't have to wait very long for this Immature Ferruginous to show up. Note wide grayish band on tail and the large white crescents formed at the base of the primaries plus the diagnostic field mark, dark primary coverts which are light on Krider's, a color morph of the Red-tailed Hawk which are surprisingly quite numerous at this location.
