Aug. 3rd, 2010 the temps outside hit 106 but 700 to 800 people came out to have fun at the National Night Out on the Garfield County Court House lawn in Enid, Ok. Garfield County joined more than 15,000 communities in participating in National Night Out, which is a crime and drug prevention event sponsored by National Association of Town Watch and involves residents, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood watch organizations and local officials from communities in all 50 states, territories, Canadian cites and military bases worldwide.
