These are actually three indiviuals paintings. Each one is 12x16 painted with acrylic paint on canvas. Inspired by a group I saw performing at the St. Patrick's Carnival. These painting are going to be part of the 2007 Dia De Los Muertos show at the Lancaster Museum of Art here in California. It's funny that the photo dont do the image justice. They are pretty cool.
Tex-Mex music groups are usually have 3 to 4 main musicians, the accordion player, and the tambora de rancho (a homemade goatskin drum, el bajo sexto (bass guitar) the electric guitar (not painted yet).
