Had there not been a Zoey - https://pbase.com/douroc2/zoey - I may have not seen Misty - https://pbase.com/ntebrd/misty - ...but there is and I did...and these beauties below are some of the discarded cats whose owners simply tired of them, left them to fend for themselves or were products of cats not spayed or neutered...Cat Assistance - http://www.cats.petfinder.org - pays for their spaying and neutering and vet bills to bring them back to good health so they can be adopted into warm and loving and caring homes. I photographed them yesterday and left in tears.

oh, jeanne what a heart touching gallery...each single image which each single cat is precious ...all i can hope for, is that they all found loving homes by now....i must have a special connection with cats all my life, growing up with one sleeping for 20 years on my chest from age 5(horror to my mother) - i am not looking for them...they find me...i feel too sensitive to have another one, after being the owner of three "findlings" (they found me)....but for the last couple of years i am totally in love with oliver....who is my upstairs neighbors cat....yes, he would love to live with me too.... http://www.pbase.com/stetsa/joy_boy big sigh...love and peace to all creatures...thanks for sharing!!! Great gallery. I've never figured most people out who abandon animals...Hope all of these find a good home. Great shots, really like how you used your camera and lens combo to get such a limited DOF and how it isolates the faces and brings out the personalities. Very nice...and very sad. Maybe someone will find one through your photos...that would be great eh?
