The GT3541LS outperformed the TVC-33 in S-Mode with this smaller 300mm f/4 AFS lens using the Kirk Replacement collar. Other tests here indicate the performance would have been worse on the Nikon stock collar.

Exposure delay mode performance was about equal and very good.
