Some Cars from The Grand Ascent at Hershey -- June 2012

Along with The Elegance, the Grand Ascent at Hershey was launched in 2011 by Pennsylvania car collector John W. Rich, Sr., with the cooperation of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. It was held for the second time on a heavily wooded hillside at the back of the Hotel Hershey on June 8 and 9, 2012. The Grand Ascent is the second resurrection of the Hershey Hillclimb, which ran from 1958 through 1970, and from 2000 through 2007. Some of the vintage cars that participated in this year's event are featured in this gallery. Among the entrants was Wayne Carini, host of the TV series "Chasing Classic Cars."
