17th November 2005 disappearing

The sun goes very quickly just now,
I collected Aiden from school and we nipped out.
I stopped to take a picture of the sun shining on a tree,
but it popped behind a cloud, then below the hill.
"That sun is teasing us" I said.
"No, Dad. It's the earth that's tricking us,
the sun doesn't actually move".
I stand corrected :-)

So what you're really trying to tell me is that in later years, not only will I be corrected constantly by my wife, mother-in-law & father-in-law, but also children too? I can hardly wait!

very wintry looking up there - are you quite sure the sun doesn't run to hide behind clouds just as the shutter is pressed? ;-)

I like the sillouette and the highlighted wet road to the right...

Lovely wintery photos. I noticed that once the sun decides to go (or as Aiden said, the earth begins to move) it move quite quickly and in a few minutes the sun has gone to bed.

That's why they built all those stone circles to work that out !
