27th May 2005 a short walk

Aiden came with me today,
a long walk was planned.
It is cooler than yesterday though,
and it started to rain.
So we nipped for a frothy coffee and an apple juice instead.
Whilst it gives me a nostalgic pang to see how fast he is growing up,
I also can't wait for it.
He is such good company, he chats away and makes me laugh.
And I see him studying me with those eyes,
taking everything in.

Great portrait. Just a touch of "Come on dad, let's get moving."

What a perfect portrait. I love the emotion. A little "aw come on". Sweet contrast.

Yes, Dad, he learns from you every moment. Excellent 'intense' portrait.
