18th March 2005, sell Swiss Francs

ee, when I were a lad,
frothy coffees and mobile phones were the preserve of the 'yuppie',
now everybody has one it seems.
We split a panini between us too,
fiscal prudence being the order of the day.

Conkers? You were lucky. We used to DREAM of conkers! Seriously, though - great capture of concentration. What age DO kids get their own phones these days, anyway?

When I was a girl, the phone rang two longs and a short to indicate it was a call for our house on the party line...the phone was on the wall with one of those earpieces that hung on the side in a cradle that was pushed down to call the operator who placed the call...and coffee was just coffee.

When I was a kid, we had to share our land line with a neighbour, bought the cheapest own brand coffee and only traded threepenny bits for conkers!

I love the look of concentration and the fore-telling of the man-to-be.
