19th November, first snow

Strong winds and fluffy snow showers last night and today.
Now it's clear and frosty.
I couldn't decide which picture to use today,
so this one will do, I have a couple more that I took...

Is that the moon rising (keep it clean!) from behind the trees? Nicely done!

Nice! I would have had trouble deciding on which one, too. I like the idea of posting thumbs of the alts down below. Did judemc start that or someone else? Hmmm. Just wondering.

Hey, I knew I'd be right with my PAD comment yesterday! ;) Love the pink glow here.

Beautiful shot. The combination of colors is really nice, in particular the pinkish clouds against the blue tone of the rest of the picture.

Great main pic today, and you've set the horizon well in the frame. No snow down in the leafy shires yet, but still brrrr cold.

A great collection today, Andy. I just realized I have not seen snow for 41 years. I thought then half a day in it long enough & I still do :>)

Your four alternates are outstanding... fantastic compositions. I like the composition in this one... sky might be a little big and I would experiment with a bit of a crop. The color is great (blue of the snow and sky) and I like the line trees going up the hill... that line leads me through the image nicely. You even got the moon setting above the treetops. What else could you want in an image. Very nice series of shots.
