Oh God! Im among people I dont remember in a place I dont know.jpg

I'm lost and do not know how to get home. A frightening phase of dementia.
friends look like strangers, landmarks are lost and her own neighborhood is unframiliar.
Many things do not make sense.

Norma this one has brought a tear to my eye. This woman looks just like my deceased Mother, who no fault of her own had an accident, and stayed with Bill and I untill the end. What lovely thoughts you must have in your head to think up all those nice images Norma, you are just amazing. x

Norma, you really captured the look of dementia in this lady's eyes. It is such a sad problem to have and yet one that seems to hit more and more people all the time.
It is really a powerful image.

Stunning image Norma! I am intrigued by the young folks walking away...and the way they recede...you are using cool colors brillantly here. Excellent painting.

This is a powerful image, Norma. You captured the look in the eyes. We used to play some of the retirement homes and many times I saw this same expression...what terror they must feel.
