Taveez's are small amulates, boxes with prayers or surahs of the Qu'ran printed on thin tissue-like paper and inserted and sealed. Worn around the neck, sewn on clothing, hung, or otherwise attached. These cheap bazaar type taveez's are usually thin metal boxes with a shiny silver wash and some hand tooled designs on them. He is also selling rings with mostly agate stones (to deflect the evil eye).
