3 September - Day trip out...

Never. ever. think you can go to Legoland on your school's "inset" day because
all the other schools will have gone back already.
You will be wrong. And it will be THE busiest day in the ENTIRE summer holidays.
Every. single. child in England will go to Legoland on that inset day.

We had a great time at Legoland!! I paid £58 for us to queue for 3 hours in
total for THREE rides!!! Then we came home!!! (That's £33 for me, £25 for my nine year
old and thankfully Lottie got in free!) And of course, extra £££ for food & drink!

Ho hum.... next time we will pick the middle of the school hols when everyone else
will think its going to be too busy, get as many free entry tickets as possible and bring a picnic!!!!

Legoland is just up the road from my old house - DMs best buddy designed part of it! I don't think he had a hand in the prices though! Like the Lego beetle.

That's a lotta money! Geez, if they can get away with it...hmmmm...what a way to make money, I might have to build me a legoland in the backyard!
Guest 03-Sep-2007 21:09

For that money, buy your own lego & build it yourself !!

At least Legoland has a decent car on display- I see a Beetle in the background!!
Shame the prices take the shine off the day a bit, but the children don't mind they still have fun!!

£58? OMG, that's nearly half a Lumix!
Guest 03-Sep-2007 18:37
